To create not just a hookah, but a cult place in 60 days. A place where connoisseurs of the “smell of oleander and gillyflowers” will flow, as Russian poet Esenin wrote. This is an ambitious task, isn’t it? We are not afraid of difficulties, so we embarked on the realisation of the idea of ShishaLoungeBar in Tashkent.
Analysis of such institutions in Uzbekistan led to only one idea: there is no sense in creating a hookah in its classical sense, that is, to copy “one of” the places. That’s why we decided to focus on exotics.
This concept has justified itself in the first months after the opening. And the high status of the institution was successfully confirmed by the title “The best hookah of the year” according to “GeometriaAwards” in 2012.
We decided to pay special attention to the cuisine and to surprise guests with unique dishes.
The menu was made up of dishes of European cuisine and Indian one with its traditional vegetarian recipes and a lot of spices (this idea is unusual for Uzbekistan). Owing to this the regulars of the bar are true gourmets, for whom food is a pleasure, and not just a satisfying of hunger.
The hookahs themselves were exotic for the visitors. They are real Arab machines, famous for their reliability in use. They brewed on a real environmentally friendly coal. This was another innovation that was immediately appreciated.
It was for the first time that hookah lovers were able to choose between different manufacturers of tobacco.
Proper promotion of the Shisha Lounge Bar led to the full occupancy of the halls. Only relevant and interesting themes for parties were chosen. Thus, the Shisha Lounge Bar hosted the first hookah championship in Tashkent, which marked the beginning of this spiritual tradition.
